Taal Volcano in the Philippines erupted on January 12, 2020. As shown in the KOMPSAT-3A images taken respectively on April 6th, 2019(before eruption) and January 16th, 2020(after eruption), the eruption turned the verdant island into a huge carpet of lifeless gray and took as many as a half-million residents at risk. We hope all the Taal Volcano evacuees go back to their peaceful life as soon as possible and safety.
