KOMPSAT-5 will turn 7 as the day of August 22! It captured over 218,041 scenes by June 30, 2020 since its launch from Yasny in Russia back in 2013. On this celebration, we are sharing a change detection image over the Jurong Port in Singapore with Standard imaging mode (ST) of 3m resolution. Fled ships and containers are shown in green, and newly appeared features were colored in red.

KOMPSAT-2, 3, 3A Imagery Quality Report 
KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) has been releasing KOMPSAT Imagery Quality Report since May, 2016. We have been sharing reports on our website and newsletter every other month. The report of May, 2020 includes information about KOMPSAT-2, 3, 3A. They show location accuracy, ground resolution, etc. The location accuracy of KOMPSAT satellites have improved a lot from the designed specification.
