2019 LX GeoSpatial Information Road Show was held from September 23 to 27, 2019 in Tunis, Tunisia. SIIS team participated the road show to broaden KOMPSAT market to North Africa region. Many companies in GIS industry attended the road show to network with the others. SIIS will continue to participate in LX Road Shows in the future.

Pecora 21 & ISRSE 38 was held from October 7 to 10, 2019 at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, USA. With the theme of “Earth Observation – Continuous Monitoring of Our Changing Planet: From Sensors to Decisions.”, informative technical sessions and workshops were held for participants. We sponsored this event, and SIIS team had valuable time with researchers and officials in remote sensing industry and introduced KOMPSAT.

Asian Conference on Remote Sensing 2019 was held from October 14 to 18, 2019 at Daejeon Convention Center in Daejeon, Republic of Korea. The theme of ACRS2019 was “Progress of Remote Sensing Technology for Smart Future”. Informative technical sessions and posters were shared on site. SIIS had a joint booth with Satrec Initiative and SI Analytics in the center of the exhibition hall and held a lucky draw event for participants.

The report of June and July 2019 shows information of KOMPSAT-2, 3, 3A. It includes location accuracy, ground resolution, etc. The location accuracy of KOMPSAT satellites have improved a lot from the designed specification.
