We are excited to announce that we became a cooperating partner of PAIGH (The Pan American Institute of Geography and History). PAIGH is a technical and scientific body of the Organization of American States specializing in the areas of cartography, geography, history and geophysics. KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) has been releasing KOMPSAT Imagery Quality Report since May, 2016. We have been sharing reports on our website and newsletter every other month. The report of November and December 2019 shows information of KOMPSAT-5, and the report of December 2019 and January 2020 includes information about KOMPSAT-2, 3, and 3A. They show location accuracy, ground resolution, etc. The location accuracy of KOMPSAT satellites have improved a lot from the designed specification.

Hunter valleys in Australia suffered from huge bushfire crisis last year. The situation ended in early February, 2020 after 6 months of effort, but due to this disaster, billions of animals were left devastated. The NIR images show comparison between after and before fire taken individually in January 21st 2017 and 2020. A vast forest is shown burnt caused by the fire.
