The first day of autumn is just around the corner! It is called the autumnal equinox and will arrive on Tuesday, September 22. The equinox may be taken to mark the end of summer and the beginning of fall in the northern hemisphere while marking the end of winter and the start of spring in the southern hemisphere. It is known that day and night are close to equal on this day.

In this study, we demonstrate how to detect changes with two KOMPSAT 5 InSAR images with standard imaging mode of 3 m resolution taken respectively on August 31 and September 28 in 2016 using PHOTOMOD Radar tool. Irkutsk in Russia was chosen as the study area. The left figure shows the two images overlapped on the area. The site indicated with yellow rectangular was analyzed for change detection. Racurs detected changes over one month at the logged areas at the indicated site. Comparing two scenes over the area, logged areas nearby the river was found.
